- Take Cake
- Provide yellow cake mix
- Provide instant vanilla pudding
- Provide eggs

Instructions to make Homemade Twinkies:
- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a greased 9 by 13 inch glass pan with waxed paper.
- In a bowl combine eggs, water and oil; add cake mix & pudding and mix well
- Scrape batter into pan & bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Now here's the tricky part: when the cake is partly cooled off invert onto a cookie sheet or something flat.. peel off the waxed paper and carefully cut the cake in half (mine is never totally even bt you cant really see it:) …now put the top part of the cake (it would be the bottom) back in the pan and cool completely.
- Meanwhile mix the sugar & flour in a sm saucepan; stir in milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool completely. (Or if you want to make it alot easier, you can buy storebought frosting & go to step 7)
- Cream butter & oleo together with vanilla; add cooled milk mixture and beat on high until fluffy.
- Spread filling on bottom half of cake. Carefully put the other half on top. Cut in squares to serve.. Keep covered in a cool place.
