- Brown ground beef & drain. Add to crockpot then add your picante (can use as spicy or mild as you like or salsa but my kids prefer when I use picante sauce instead of salsa) and your cheese. Cook on low for 2 hours. Serve warm with Fritos or tortilla chips.
In a large skillet add the olive oil and turn to medium high heat. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet or saute pan over medium heat.
