The ingredients needed to make Green Tomato Chutney:
- Use green tomatoes
- Take apple
- You need red onion
- Prepare light brown sugar
- You need malt vinger
- Use salt
- Get ground garlic
- You need piece of ginger
Instructions to make Green Tomato Chutney:
- Chop tomatoes, red onion and apple
- Add chopped vegetables to a large saucepan with vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic and ginger
- Bring ingredients to the boil before reducing to a simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent the chutney sticking to the bottom of the pan
- Add sultanas and continue to simmer for 15 more minutes
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool before serving
