- peel and slice potatoes and place in cold water. spray a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray. preheat oven to 375. Peel onion, cut in half and half again. mince using a grater or food processor. drain potato slices.. Place a layer of sliced potaoes in casserole, sprinkle with minced onion, shake some salt, pepper, ans chives.. again another layer of potatoes, onions, spices.. repeat one more time.
